Getting that instrument rating is worth it
- Prerequisites
Before starting instrument training, a pilot must have a private pilot’s license, a minimum of 50 hours of cross-country flight time, and at least 40 hours of instrument flight time. Additionally, they must be able to read, speak, write, and understand the English language proficiently.
