I have dreamt of one day flying my own airplane to the biggest airshow and aviation event in the world. That’s the EAA Airventure in Oshkosh Wisconsin. Happens every single year in the month of July. Previous years, I’ve flown commercial. For years I’ve gone to #Oshkosh, drove, walked, taken the bus. Today I am #flying in for the first time at the worlds biggest #airshow.
Flight plan is about 6 hours as we are flying in some instrument conditions, so to begin our journey we file an IFR flight plan. I have my safety pilot and CFI Karlston with me so I’m pretty much back to being a student pilot on this flight.
