Saberwing Light Sport Airplane Is Finally Here

Back with an update for the Saberwing 2 seater aircraft from Azalea aviation. If you remember we covered the original prototype of this plane last year here

The Saberwing is an experimental airplane that uses a car conversion Corvair engine. The kit for the airplane starts at less than $30,000 and you can have a flying airplane under $50,000. The light sport version of the saberwing comes with tricycle landing gear and more than likely limited to 100 hp engine. You won’t be able to fly over 130 mph in this model, but that’s still plenty of speed at cruise setting. The performance for the light sport version is close in numbers with the original Saberwing.
