At Oshkosh 2021 I ran into this beauty. And I say that because this aircraft truly is beautifully designed form the inside out. The Montaer is a Brazilian design light sport aircraft. Capacity is 2 people, but you’ve got room in this airframe for days.
The Montaer MC01 uses a Rotax 912 engine like many of the other light sport in the market. You can also fit a Rotax 915 engine in this airframe which will boost the performance. Your cruise speed in the light sport category is still limited but your climb speed can be as high as the blue skies.
