Last week we saw the Justaircraft SuperSTOL XL in flight. By the smile on my face you can tell this is a true fun airplane to fly in. Today though, we take a closer look at this STOL aircraft.

This model plane has a longer body frame and takes on a bigger titan 180 hp engine. The light sport version of the superstol uses a smaller rotax 912 100 hp engine. This more beefed up version gives you better performance in climb and in higher altitude. But let’s face it, pilots fly these planes not because they want to go high and fast but rather because the want to fly low and slow.
