More On the Saberwing
A quick look at the new spyder 120 hp engine from Azalea Aviation. Spyder engines are corvair auto engine, reengineered for airplane use. Azalea aviation has been flying corvair engine for years, mainly the 100hp standard engine.
In the Saberwing kit airplane, the new 120 hp corvair engine is currently being tested. The airplane performance is expected increase in climb rate and in cruise. Expect speeds north of 150 mph. Also this engine has a higher flight ceiling of 20,000 feet.
