The subsonex jet is a single pilot aircraft. Very cozy cabin, so you’re practically wearing the plane just like in your typical fighter jet. The kit is powered by a turbine jet engine that cost $65,000. Expect cruise speeds between 230 mph – 240 mph. Furl capacity is 40 gallons and you’d be burning roughly 30 gallons of fuel per hour.
Subsonex is not a jet that will take you far. Range on this aircraft is about 250 miles, so you’ve got about an hour or an hour and half flight time. But you want to go fast, do some aerobatics while you’re at it? consider a subsonex jet. All in with the kit and engine, you’re looking at a total cost of about $140,000
