Certified Airplane With The Smallest Twin Engines In The World. P2006T

At the Tecnam hangar in Sebring Florida, we stop to check out the all new Tecnam P2006T. The P2006T is a high wing twin engine aircraft that uses 2 Rotax 100hp engines.

This by far is the smallest engines you may find on a certified twin engine aircraft. What that translates to is less operating cost per hour. Expect to burn on 4.5 gallons of fuel per hour per engine. Imagine flying a modern twin that cruises 150 mph and you’re only burning 9 gallons of fuel per hour combined.

The P2006T also has a nice big cabin that will seat up to 4 people comfortably (pilot included) and you have a ton of space in the back to put up to 176 lbs of luggage. In the cockpit, you’ll find a nicely equipped Garmin G1000 glass panel.

This airplane is not cheap by any chance but it is competitive in pricing. Starting price is $444,000
