A Perfect First Airplane – Piper Cherokee 235

Piper cherokee single engine line of aircraft are some of the most commonly flown airplanes in the united states and around the world. Starting from the base Cherokee 140 with only 150 hp engine to the Cherokee 235 with 235 hp engine.

The model in this video is a 1963 Piper cherokee 235, recently purchased by Karl, a Mojogrip viewer. This is Karl’s very first airplane which he bought to finish his pilots license. From just the appearance, the aircraft looks quite old. And it is, it’s been flying for over 50 years. So you’ll find the normal wear and tear on an old vehicle.

Head on to the interior though and you’ll see this vintage bird show it’s true colors. The interior cabin was nice and comfortable. And the aircraft was built to seat 4-5 people comfortably with useful load of over 1400 pounds. Although you might find it a little bit narrow once the door shut close. If you’re on the wider side, the front seats may feel tight. And speaking of doors. There is only one entry door on this airplane.
